One such alternative is the Glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) agonists, which you might also hear referred to as GLP-1 receptor agonists, incretin mimetics, or GLP-1 analogs. We also offer numerous effective oral therapies as well.
We provide convenient at-home self-administration packages, allowing you to manage your weight loss journey from the comfort of your own home. Our team will guide you through the process, ensuring you feel confident and supported every step of the way.

Various medications serve as effective tools to aid in achieving weight-loss goals. Particularly beneficial for individuals facing challenges with weight loss through exercise or diet alone, these medications fall under the class known as GLP-1 agonists, often colloquially referred to as the "skinny shot." The degree of weight loss varies based on the specific GLP-1 drug, dosage, and individual biology. It's crucial to understand that these medications are tools, not a cure. Given that obesity is often a chronic condition, sustained weight loss necessitates ongoing lifestyle changes in conjunction with medication use.
In most instances, a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher is necessary to begin prescription medications. Nevertheless, a BMI of 27, coupled with pre-existing conditions like hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, or Type 2 diabetes, also qualifies. You can determine your BMI by entering your height and weight using an online calculator here.
We are more than willing to explore alternative strategies and engage in a detailed conversation with you about various options. This will encompass a comprehensive discussion on implementing lifestyle changes that can effectively complement and fortify your weight-loss aspirations. Your well-being is our priority, and we're here to collaboratively tailor a plan that aligns with your goals and ensures long-term success.
For individuals utilizing GLP-1 medications as part of their prescription weight-loss journey, it's noteworthy that many patients observe significant weight loss within the initial 12 weeks of treatment. However, it's essential to recognize that the outcomes are subject to variation, influenced by individual biology, lifestyle factors, and the specific medication employed. Your unique response to the medication, coupled with lifestyle choices, plays a pivotal role in determining the extent and sustainability of weight loss. Our commitment is to work closely with you, considering these variables, to optimize the effectiveness of your prescription weight-loss plan and ensure the best possible results tailored to your individual circumstances.
